I’m happy to share about my time at Housing Plus – it was a very important part of my journey.
When I arrived, I was new to the UK. I didn’t have legal status yet, and I was still adjusting to everything around me. I often felt scared and tried to stay polite and quiet so I wouldn’t bother anyone.
Housing Plus changed that. They gave me a safe place to live and helped me enrol in school. There were always activities to join – like cooking sessions and fun outings – which I really enjoyed.
Right now, I’m actively looking for a job. Housing Plus helped build my confidence, guided me towards the things I was interested in, and supported me every step of the way.
My time there was genuinely positive. I never had any problems. The people – both residents and keyworkers – were kind and supportive. It felt like a warm, family-like environment, and it made a real difference to my life.
